Let me tell you a story about dragons.
Dragons are thought to be extinct. The truth is - they walk among us everyday. Looking around, you wouldn't know. Why is that?
Scaly fire-breathing dragons look and feel out of place when it comes to cities with skyscrapers, electric cars, vertical farms and first world problems. So dragons don on modern grub. Think ties, heels, jeans, comfy shoes, athleisure - whatever it takes it takes to blend in.
Camouflaging - aka Sleuth Mode - has its advantages. Dragons can roam freely and undetected. It's alot of fun. Flying under the radar has its perks.
But that gets harder everyday.
Despite best efforts, dragon colors are hard to keep under wraps. Increasingly, a certain dragon finds herself being stopped in public - by lovely peeps from all walks of life, telling her they love the colors. Why, thank you :)
It's friendly MOST of the time.
But there are times when it gets weird AF. Like that dude from the ice-cream shop, wtf. Creepy x10. Time for a quick exit...
Dragons get a bad rep for being dangerous or very lazy.
Some assume dragons lounge around all day, passively guarding caves filled with gold and precious stones - not doing very much besides sleeping and filling their days with boring champagne problems.
In reality, dragons REALLY like to get sh*t done.
Like. ALL. the. time. The DRIVE is insatiable. It's about making an IMPACT - just saying, for those not in the know-how.
Imagine a duck on a pond. On the surface, it cruises the water with ease, calmly and gracefully, never breaking into a sweat. All while making it look so damn EASY.
But when you look underneath the water, it's paddling NON-STOP. Often zipping along, one thing after another. All day, everyday, 7 days a week. Weekends don't exist; Sunday is just another day, like Tuesday.
That's how dragons operate.
So fellow dragons, if you send a Bat-Signal and you don't hear back, it's prolly cause sh*t is going down. You're NOT being ignored.
Having said that, dragons LOVE to renew commitments. They're ALL for strategy and partnership.
Collaboration? Yes please!
In fact, here's an idea - why not mark the special occasion by launching an ADDITIONAL comm pipeline. Bi-laterally and immediately. Something to think about.
After all, dragons don't shy away from taking calculated risks. They make it their b*tch. HA!
In all seriousness, doing something differently takes courage from all parties because it involves the unknown. Evolving is part of a titan's journey toward GREATNESS. And all the better for developing mutual trust.
They say 2nd time's a charm -
